Fellow Marylanders:
It’s that most wonderful time of the year, and I’m excited to welcome you to my home for the annual Maryland GOP Christmas Party.
When you come on December 12th, please seek out our MDGOP Chair Diana Waterman, and share well wishes and a prayer. Diana was recently diagnosed with stage 2B breast cancer and will have to undergo aggressive treatment. We are confident that Diana will defeat this disease and look forward to the day she will be cancer free.
MDGOP Christmas Party
I would like to invite you all to our Maryland GOP Christmas Party, which will be held at my home located at 1109 Bellemore Road, Baltimore, MD 21210 on Saturday, December 12th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Congressman Andy Harris will be our featured speaker. Tickets are $85 and sponsorship opportunities are available. The flyer is attached and you can order your tickets online.
We’ll have some special surprises, and we are also working on an initiative with Governor Hogan’s office. We’ve identified some Baltimore City Public Schools with no library books. Please bring a new or gently used book or school supplies, and we will take them directly to a school in need.

Greetings Marylanders:
Yesterday was a GREAT day for Maryland Republicans! Since we began emphasizing work on 2015 municipal elections last fall at the MDGOP Convention, several Republicans stepped up to the plate and won elections where no Republican has won in recent memory.
Congratulations to Muir Boda, the newly elected Salisbury City Councilman! In one of the last remaining Democratic strongholds on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Muir garnered a victory by running on a platform focused on eliminating onerous regulations on businesses and improving the quality of life.

Congratulations to Michael Estève, the newly elected Bowie City Councilman! Mike won his race handily in a Prince George’s County jurisdiction that comprises of 80% registered Democratic voters by emphasizing good government and tax reduction. Yes, Republicans can win in Prince George’s County!

Michael Estève and Muir Boda were both beneficiaries of our Maryland GOP 2015 Super Saturday Program aimed at helping Republicans win in “blue” territory. We are 2 for 2 on this effort!

Huge kudos to the hardworking volunteers and campaign staffers who helped make these victories a reality. And, another uproarious round of applause for Congressman Andy Harris leading by example ~ he went door-to-door in Salisbury, made phone calls, and came to yet another Super Saturday.

In addition to this great news, Aberdeen elected a Republican mayor in Patrick McGrady last night. Now, all of Harford County’s municipalities will be governed by a Republican!
As municipal races happen throughout the year, let’s not forget our key victories earlier this year that gave us a ton of momentum and inspiration heading into the first Tuesday of November.
The heavily Democratic town of Kensington in Montgomery County elected our own Tommy Rodriguez as Town Councilman earlier this year.

In the overwhelmingly Democratic town of Berwyn Heights located “inside the Beltway” in Prince George’s County, our own Lynn White won an appointment to the Berwyn Heights Town Council. Along with Estève, we now have TWO Republican officials in Prince George’s County where there previously was none for over a decade.

Congrats to all on these 2015 successes, but party building never stops and together we must continue to build our bench. Let’s continue to “make Maryland more Red!”

1) Huge congratulations to Lynn White, Berwyn Heights’ newest Town Councilwoman! Lynn was officially sworn-in last Wednesday. With that, Maryland Republicans have ended one-party rule in Prince George’s County and we have a Republican official representing a community Inside the Beltway. Go Lynn!
2) Thank you for all answering our grassroots mobilization calls and placing many phone calls to U.S. Senator Ben Cardin on the horrendous Iran Nuclear Deal. Despite the situation, it is good to know Maryland voters were persistent enough to help swing at least one of four Democratic Senators in Washington, DC.
3) Maryland’s Congressional Redistricting Case is headed to the U.S. Supreme Court! Kudos to some of our favorite tenacious Marylanders for their persistence. (Read more here & here.)

By now you’ve probably heard the dreadful details about President Obama’s nuclear deal and sanction give-away with Iran, which seems to forget we have a U.S. Congress. However, Senator Ben Cardin is considered a critical vote, and he has voiced concern about this deal.
As his constituents, we can all call Senator Cardin’s office to say “Vote NO” on the Iran Nuclear Deal. Please call Senator Cardin at either or both locations:

Note this key quote issued by Senators Ben Cardin (D) and Bob Corker (R) in a letter to President Obama last Thursday:
