Please join me in supporting and volunteering for the charity “Tears of a Mothers Cry” this holiday season. For years, volunteer Ms. Millie Brown and team have worked to provide a Thanksgiving Dinner for mothers who have lost their children to violence. Tears of a Mother’s Cry provides a hot Thanksgiving meal for up to 500 mothers and their remaining children. Another goal is to send each mother home with a donated turkey at the end of the night. As Ms. Millie says, what matters most is for these mothers to know that people care.
Today is the big day! Governor Larry Hogan is being inaugurated for a second term and this is history-making for Republicans in Maryland. Congrats to everyone who worked so hard to re-elect Governor Hogan and Republicans across our state. I’m particularly excited that for once our team will have input on how to constitute federal and state district lines that can better represent Maryland communities.
All that said, we have our work cut out for us to continue to build the GOP over the next four years. As discussed at our last convention, we are looking for Republicans who are interested in serving on our new Maryland GOP Back to Basics Committee.
